Sundays 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
This group meets each Sunday morning in the library to discuss Scripture. They explore the Scripture’s historical context, the intended listener, what the message was to the people of the time – and then, what the message is to us today in the twenty-first century.
Jim Collins is an elder at The Gayton Kirk and is currently serving on the Session as Mission Co-Chair.
Explorations

This group meets in the Blue Room to discuss Dr. Rebecca Weaver’s collection of sermons, Explorations. The class is casual and conversational, and they read and discuss three brief sermons a week. Participants are invited even if they haven’t done the reading. Books are available for free upon request.

Mindfulness for Women

Sundays 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Mindfulness for Women meets in Janet’s office. Mindfulness is “whatever you are doing, be aware of it.” The group’s main goal is to give women permission to focus on themselves and their well-being through meditations and self-care.

The Painting Table– intergenerational

Participants are expressing the themes of Lent through painting. All ages are welcome. No experience needed – just an openness to learning a new way of listening to God.
